Gummy?s New Song Tops USEN J-Pop Request Ranks in Japan!
Gummy?s promotional single?Shinjiteiru??from her second Japanese mini album Fate(s) has become the most requested J-Pop song on USEN.
USEN is Japan?s largest cable company, and its request chart collects data on viewer requests across its channels.
Shinjiteiru??is a song about how a woman still feels lonely after meeting the man of her destiny, yet shows how she wants to believe in his sincere heart. The song appeared at no. 125 on the chart on March 6, then rose slowly to finally climb to no. 1 a month later on April 3.
Gummy?s album has also been making issues for her duet with Big Bang?s Daesung, who has also been promoting in Japan.
Gummy sang at Daesung?s solo concerts as his senior and friend, and her music video for?Shinjiteiru??gathered issues for starring big local actors such as Mitsuki Tanimura, Yoshinori Okada and Kazuya Kojima.
